Insect Sculptures by Sean Goddard

Sean Goddard is a glass and metal artisan.  He uses this mixed media to create many things, but is most recognized for his collection of insect sculptures.

He finds a playful contrast in utilizing beautiful glass with traditionally menacing forms.

The insect sculptures are  made with cut and kiln formed glass, sheet copper, tubing and wire, with rivet detailing.

The insect sculptures can be found for sale weekly during the summer season at the Saturday Market in Centennial Park on Salt Spring Island or at the Farmhouse Gallery Studio. The sculptures can also be found at various shows throughout North America.
